Security in regards to passwords...

One of the most important things in regards to the security of your site are your passwords! Yes that's right, by using a simple or common password you place your site at risk and in turn that also places you and all your members at risk depending on what can take place at the hands of someone who has access when they should not.
Often times I find those who request my services usually have a spare admin account handy... most times I see something along these lines:
Username: Admin
Password: 123456
That right there ^ is simply asking for trouble in my opinion.
Remember, no matter if it's a forum or database password it needs to be long, have any combination of characters you can possibly think of for example here is just a username and password off the top of my head:
Username: Opt1mA1
Password: aUt0%Mat!c
Now bare in mind if your assisting or working on a site with someone who is in another country and perhaps speaks a different language, it is best advised to use characters they have present on their keyboards otherwise when they attempt to use your custom password they will be unable to.
One more thing to remember is use a different password for each site, perhaps purchase a cheap ledger/journal to list them all in including site url, username, and password as retaining a notepad file etc is not well advised considering today's online threats. Simply put, ensure that you and your site are secure in every possible way including keeping software up to date and using very secure passwords.
